Richard Hughes has now amassed over 240 winners and £2 million in prize money. The past 5 years has seen runners across the world including Dubai. Facilities have also been upgraded with the building of a 22 horse American Barn.

Richard has had great support from owners most of whom joined him at the start of his career. His goal each year is for every horse on the yard to win a race (regardless of his rating!) and to ensure his owners come and see their horses on a regular basis at the yard and at their local race tracks as he tends not to run his horse to much up north.

HELP TO SUPPORT THE OPEN DAY

MAKE A DONATION

For over 30 years, The Lambourn Open Day has been the chief provider of funds for the welfare of our superb and hard working stable staff.

All the profits go towards helping them and their families. The bulk of the money goes to our Registered Charity, The Lambourn Valley Housing Trust. Please see below. The rest, about 10%, goes to helping various facilities for them, such as the Lambourn School, their Sports Club etc, as well as to the Thames Valley Air Ambulance.
