Annual Membership in the Oliver Signy Racing Club

Winning Bid: £165.00

Item condition: New

A limited membership club to ensure members can have plenty of access to badges & mornings on the gallops.

The Horses

The Racing Club currently has one horse, which is on lease from Oliver, to allow no buy into the club. We are always on the look out to expand and should injury prevent Twit from running we will substitute in another horse where possible, to allow plenty of chances to go racing.

Twittering – Three-year-old Gelding

Twittering, known on the yard at Twit, is a 3 year old who was recently gelded, which should improve his performance. He popped a few jumps before his break and will get schooled up properly in the coming weeks as his fitness improves, and learn to jump ready for juvenile hurdling in the spring. Twit has fantastic pedigree, sired by the famous Kodiac who stands at Tally Ho Stud, his cover fee alone is €65,000. His highest flat rating is 63, leaving plenty of scope for improvement. He is a yard favourite and has a wonderful temperament, and has grown on a lot since coming to the yard a few months ago.

It’s a great opportunity to get involved with a young hurdler and follow their progress, watching them on the Lambourn schooling ground and on the racecourse.

We believe the best part about having a racehorse is getting Owners & Trainers badges to see the horse run, so we have limited the club to 50 people to ensure plenty of badges throughout the year.

Benefits of Membership

  • Owners & Trainers Badges when the horse runs & options were possible for additional guests.
  • Access to the pre-parade ring to watch the horse being saddled and parade ring to meet the jockey and discuss pre-race tactics with the trainer – and hopefully winners enclosure!
  • Owners Racecourse benefits usually to include complimentary tea and coffee, and often lunch.
  • Racing Club Mornings – regular mornings to come and see the horses working on the gallops, socialise with the members and enjoy some breakfast on the yard.
  • Updates on the horse – we will keep you up to date with the progress of the horses and the yard, with regular emails and communication.
  • Owners Day, an invitation to the annual owners day at The Croft Stables & Festive Open Morning.
  • Racing Club colours pin & discounts on yard branded clothing.
