A Share in the Fillies First Partnership with Jonathan Portman

Winning Bid: £640.00

Kindly donated by Jonathan Portman.

Item condition: New

We offer you a 5% share in partnership leasing 3 horses.

Term of partnership is from joining date for 6 months. Subscription is normally £250 per month to include all training and Weatherbys costs but NOT extraordinary vet (e.g. bone scanning, multiple x rays, surgery), foreign racing costs or additional mortality insurance over and above the value of horse at joining stage.

Trainer guarantees three horses in training during the term.
Trainer reserves the right to substitute/sell any horse in the partnership at any stage of the term.

Yard visits welcome. Prizemoney won is distributed (less the extraordinary expenses occurred if any) to members at the end of the term.

Currently the horses involved are:

2017 bay filly by Make Believe (GB) ex Russian Rave (GB) (Danehill Dancer (Ire))
Dam a multiple winner for us. Rated 68. Winner of two staying handicaps in 2020.

2018 grey filly by Hellvelyn (GB) ex Hasten (Ire) (Lear Fan (USA))
Rated 64. Placed three times in 2020. Can improve as a three-year-old.

2018 grey filly by Hellvelyn (GB) ex Bellotta (GB) (Nayef (USA))
Dam once raced, with promise, for us until injury caused retirement. Rated 64. Placed 4th twice in 2020 from three runs. Can improve as a three-year-old.

The aim of the partnership is to offer affordable involvement to a manageable sized group (max 20 people) and offer them as regular action as possible which is often not possible with a solely two year old based involvement or just relying on one horse.

On joining members receive a Partnership Agreement Form /receipt. Racecourse admission badges are freely available to each member with additional badges being obtainable on request at discounted rates. Usually it is likely these extra badges will be available to members at no cost; just inform the trainer in good time of your requirements.

For over 30 years, The Lambourn Open Day has been the chief provider of funds for the welfare of our superb and hard working stable staff.

All the profits go towards helping them and their families. The bulk of the money goes to our Registered Charity, The Lambourn Valley Housing Trust. Please see below. The rest, about 10%, goes to helping various facilities for them, such as the Lambourn School, their Sports Club etc, as well as to the Thames Valley Air Ambulance.
